The NSA was causing trouble by having people torture people in Guantanamo Bay. They water boarded people, which is where people have a towel put over their mouth and have water poured on them simulating drowning. We talked about the Bush Doctrine. It allowed the US to attack other countries that provide a threat to the homeland, and encourages democracy all over the world. AL-Qaeda stands for base.
Friday-Talked about current events.
Israel was formed after WW ll, and it pushed out the Palestinians. The Palestinians were very mad. That made them start doing terrorists attacks on Israel.
We gave weapons to the Mujaheddin to fight back the Soviets that took over the land. After that, the Taliban took over the government.
We did the same thing in Iraq, causing the Iraq to get stronger
