Presidential Accomplishments- Ended Korean Clash. Many Administrations and Systems made. Civil Rights Act of 1957. Kept peace throughout all crises. 

Amendments/Acts- Brown vs. Board Education.22nd Amendment ratified. McCarran Act. Montgomery Bus Boycotts. 

Dwight D Eisenhower- Childhood- Born on October 14th 1890 in Denison Texas. Seven Siblings. Low in Money. Lived in a tiny house. Father cleaned train engines. 10 month old brother died. Played a huge roll on D-day commanding the allied forces in the Normandy Invasion. Elected 34th president in 1952. Signed Civil rights Legislation. Geld inexpensive nuclear weapons on guard. US policy on protecting Taiwan from the Chinese. Sent 15,000 troops to keep the pro-Western government from falling. 

Greatest Inversions- Credit Card, Power Steering, Video Tape recorder, Hydrogen Bomb, McDonald's, Laser, Non stick pans. 

Women's Fashion Trends Freedom, Wandering waistline, Ankle Length dresses, Brooches, one inch heels. Fur-Beaver, Lamb fur, Astrakhan, Mink. Color Trend- Charcoal Grey, Greens, Blues, Royal blue & black combo, White and Gold, Orchard Pink. 

Men's Fashion Trends- Silk suits, different color upper to lower suite, hats.

Sports- Dominated by baseball and boxing, Football was rising. Basketball was still underestimated. 

Greaser- Slicked back hair, Leather jackets, White shirt, Jeans, and converse

Electronics- Colored Television, Microwave Oven, Portable Radios

Music- The birth of rock and roll. Elvis Presley. Just coming out of the Jazz era. 

Movies- Sci fi movies, Spy movies, Monster movies. 

TV shows- Westerns, Sitcoms, Sci-Fi 

Wednesday- No school 

Thursday- Semester test work day

Friday- 1970's 

Music- More variety, R&B, Rock, Pop, Disco, Vinyl, Record Players. 

Movies-Jaws, Exorcist

TV shows- Were bigger, happy days. All in Family, Brady Bunch. 

Video Games- Ping, Galaxian, Tank, Computer Space 

Inventions- Cell phone, car phones, and portable. Walkman, LCD

Presidential Elections- 1972 Richard Nixon defeats George McGovern. Jimmy Carter defeated Gerald Ford. Nixon was a republican, Carter was a democrat. Ended draft. Desegregation. Vietnam War. Donated 100 million to help cancer research. 

Major Historic Events- Kent State Massacre, Disney World opened, Nixon first president to visit China. SNL makes debut 1975 Microsoft was founded. Apple releases computer, Sears tower opens, Twin Towers opened. Nuclear Accident.
