The progressive era was a period of political and social in the us
Protecting social welfare- made houses for the poor people, built libraries
Creating economic reform= the income gap was very large, child labor laws
Woman's christian temperance- these ladies protested like in bars and saloons and sang and praised, trying to stop the people form selling and buying alcohol, which eventually led to the Prohibition.
The prohibition was a protest era and it was an era where alcohol sales were shut down.
the 18th amendment banned all sales of alcohol, they thought it would make people happy and they eventually found out that it didn't it made more problems then they started put with before the prohibition
Progressives- if someone get hurt on the job they can sometimes get money because of it.
More democratic country- trying to make more like socialism

what did the government do to reform itself during the progressive are- they made laws that were made to improve life
What did the progressives do to make workers safer- they reduced the hours, bettered the conditions and protected children
