Bedstemor's House is a historic house museum in Elk Horn, IA. The two story Victorian home was built in 1908 by Danish immigrant, Jens Otto Christiansen. Christiansen planned on the home to be an engagement gift, but the marriage proposal was rejected. The house was added to the national register of historical places in 1997.
