Max Massey and Joe Beale both got pulled out of school in the 12th grade to go serve in the 58th They were reunited after 70 years and they were both so exited and it was like just yesterday they were fighting together. "We were so thrilled that after 70 years we could get back together and love each other some and still talk about the same old thing that we talked about over the years," Beale said. This is such an amazing story that two friends from 70 years ago could be reunited at the age of 91.
What do you think about this story?
What do you think it would be like to have a friend like that and not see them for 70 years?

Good job!
I thinks its great that stuff like this happens. These friends are most likely what got them through the war. It would be tough not to see a good friend for 70 years. You couldn't know anything about the other person after the war and you wouldn't even know if one of your best friends was dead. I'm glad that more of these stories are coming about.
I think it is cool that they were able to find each other after 70 years of being apart.. I would probably be sad that I didn't know where they were or what happened to them. You also wouldn't know if they were alive after 70 years.
I think that this is one of those great stories of soldiers reuniting after years apart. If i saw my friend after 70 years apart from each other i would feel great because they were someone i long to find but couldn't until now
I think that it is cool that they were reunited. I think it would be hard.
I think it would be amazing to be reunited to a friend that I haven't seen in 70 years
I think that it's great that the two friends were able to be reunited. I dont know how anyone could go 70 years without seeing one of their friends.
yes this is great
I think it is a great story that these two people even after 70 years can remember the memories they had together
