Across Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana snow piled up from 3 - 20 inches! The snow caused over 500 canceled flights. The snow first fell in South Dakota, then made it's way south-east to Illinois and Indiana. Snow plow drivers were hard at work clearing the snow. One worker stated that he just stays calm and does his job as the snow falls. Making sure he follows all safety precautions. Many residents say that the first snow is always a pain in the butt, but you get used to it after awhile. Some also said that this is a large amount for this time of the year.

From my experience of living in Colorado, I am really not even fazed by snow. In a way, I wish we could have gotten more, but I'm okay with the amount that we received here in Iowa.

I really do love snow and winter and I hope it continues to snow.
I like snow a lot because it is really just all around fun. You can do a lot of things in snow like play with friends or like my brothers and I do go down to the creek behind our house and look at different things that you wouldn't normally get to see. I do wish that we had gotten more because if we did then we wouldn't have school and that gives me more time to have fun.
I do like snow a lot, I think winter is the best time of the year. But it is very dangerous driving conditions and for the holidays many people aren't able to be with their families. I love snow but I don't know how much I would want
That is a very good point in which in inhibits families from being together sometimes. I also agree winter is the best time of the year!
I like snow and like it when it snows at least 6 inches at a time. Snow is some much fun to play in, but the bad thing about it is that people forget how to drive in it, which causes many accidents to happen. I'm ready for winter and want more snow for sure.
I love snow also Jenny! As many people are saying, the snow is dangerous which is the sad part about snow.
I think its really late for the first snow, unusually late. I don't have a problem with it, but its kind of concerning the weather patterns. We had a tornado and the first snow of the year within 2 weeks. That's really weird and concerning because if these weather patterns are like this now, what will the be like when we are adults? I don't wish for more snow.
Your point is very valid Chad. The patterns now may increase as we get older or go back to normal, we don't know.
I think the first snow is usually really pretty, but I hate snow. I want more snow for Christmas but that's it.
