Over the years, people close to Nikolas Cruz have started to rethink and look over things they have noticed over the years. Nikolas's neighbors started to pick up signs that he was off at age 9. He would get in fights all the time with the kids around the neighborhood as in throwing rocks at them. As he got older, his neighbors would see him being violent towards little animals like cutting them open and throwing them and he also introduced himself as a school shooter. He currently has 17 chargers and possible more to come.
Adults who live close to knew Nikolas had issues. They were very concered that he might cause problems in the future. His adoptive dad died while he was little so his mom rasied him. He described him as abusive and destructive. Cops were at their house almost every week because people would report him. A couple examples were Nikolas smacking his mom with the plastic hose off of a vaccum and throwing a chair, dog bowl, and a glass at her when she took his xbox. He also made comments on social media stating he was a school shooter and wanted to shoot up the school. He is currently in jail.

I do think I would pick up on some of the signs like him cutting up small animals and how the cops are at his house every week

I feel like the people should have told someone or got him the correct help he would need because that is not normal.

I think it should have been very difficult not to pick up on this type of behavior and it should have been alarmin to the school and the police. I think after he tweeted that he was a shooter and wanted to shoot up the school that something should have been done before he did so.
This would be been easy to notice the signs precursing to the shooting. He has demonstrated violent behavior around the house with the police showing up at the house. I would have been able to notice this. I think they should've put him in a program to fix his issues.
I think it would be easy ot see that stuff and that they are not normal for someome to do. When someone sees something like this I think they should tell someone that will do somethign about it or ask him why hes doing it.
I think the signs would be easy to pick up because he basically totures animals and is always getting into trouble with the law. I think student should have told teh staff because they can do more than the students can but they should have also tried to talk to him.
I think I could pick up on some of the signs he layed out. He cut up little animal which isn't only sad but it's disgusting. Not only that but the cops at his house every weekend. Also how could you not know he was going to do something when he posted it on social media like?? I feel like they should of either reported him or maybe get him some major help. Because him acting out like that isn't normal.
I think I would have maybe noticed some signs, due to these violent actions and such. I think if people thought anything was wrong they needed to let someone who could handle it aware of these things. Maybe if that would of happened he could have gotten help that he needs.
Yes, I do think that i would've been able to pick up the warning signs. To be completely honest, it's not like he kept it much of a secret, and it is really obvious that people like this need help.

I feel that the people who experienced these warning signs should've taken it more seriously and gotten him the help he deserved.
Yeah he didn't try to keep it secret because he did it out in the open and caused commotion with his mom so I would think other family members and neighbors would have noticed all the things that were going wrong. I feel like anyone that knew him could have guessed that something was not right with him.
