Two dead, two injured in Tabernacle, New Jersey

A shooting on Thursday, November 20, 2014, left a woman and her son in critical condition and her two other children dead. 44-year-old Jeaninne LePage and her son are currently in the Cooper University Hospital in Camden, N.J. Police say that they got a call from a relative also living in the house that the mother and children - said to be middle school and high school age - had been shot. Jeaninne suffers a shot in the head but officials wont reveal where the children were shot. The family was all found in the same room and a a handgun, believed to be the only weapon, was also found. There is no active search for the shooter.

Even though this is a sad story, at least a few people survived and she still has one child. It's a scary thought to think that the police aren't looking for the shooter when he could strike again.

Why do you think that the police aren't looking for the shooter?

  • Great job!

  • maybe they will eventually look into . it surprises me that they aren't looking for the suspect or suspects.

  • I am surprised they are not looking, but if they don't have enough evidence or they think a family member did it, I can see why it would be hard to put a out an active search warrant.

  • I think it's ridiculous that they aren't finding the shooter. Unless maybe it was one of the kids that died was the shooter and killed himself in the action.

  • ya i think that they should be looking for a shooter. I have no clue why they arent looking for him

    • I think that they should be looking for the shooter, but like what a lot of people said the police don't have enough evidence to find who the shooter is.

  • It sounds like they have no way to know who did it at this point.

  • Maybe because they don't have a clue of what happened or maybe the mother was the shooter.

    • I think that the mother could be the possible shooter as well.

  • It sounds like there are no leads to go off of. If there's no lead, there's no way to search for a shooter. If they have no clue who the person could be, they can't look for them and are therefore most likely putting this case on hold until they get a tip on who the shooter might be.
