Despite President Donald Trumps trip to Asia he still has time to tweet about his relationship with Russia and insult the leader or North Korea. On Saturday, November 11th he called out the "haters and fools", out on twitter saying that America's need to have a "good relationship with Russia". But what struck twitter followers the most was his tweet about Kim Jong Un, calling him "short and fat." President Trumps tweets says, "Why would Kim Jong- un insult me by calling me "old", when I would NEVER call him "short and fat?" Oh well, I try so hard to be his friends and maybe someday the will happen!" The tweet has threatened to derail some attention away from the administrations main messaging during the trip to Asia.

Questions:

1. Do you think President Trump is being appropriate with his twitter feed? Why or why not?

2. Do you think it's professional to tweet like this, even if you the President? Why or why not?

  • I don't think he is being appropriate when posting on his twitter he is very unprofessional about things and the way he says things to the public isn't very appropriate. Whether you are president or not you still have a job and need to keep things professional because you never know who is viewing it.

  • Yes he is because Kim Jong Un is short and fat and thinks he can do whatever he wants and not have anyone do something about it. When you are the president you do whatever you want to do ever if it means tweet about a short and fat dude.

  • I don't think he is being appropriate on his twitter feed, he always says unprofessional things and it goes public. I don't think it's professional at all for all people might turn on him. And many of the people he tweets about are from other countries.

  • No doubt about it Trump is definitely not being appropriate with his twitter account. he always says things that are very rude and unprofessional. With the second question I don't think it is ever professional to tweet like this. Say what you want and feel how you feel about Trump. You cant deny he is not afraid to be honest. if if so is brutally honest. Maybe a bit too much.

  • I don't think he is being appropriate with his tweets because he is calling the leader of North Korea short and fat. This is a basic child's fight calling each other names. I don't think this is very professional because previously presidents weren't allowed to post on social media.

  • Yes, I think that President Donald Trump is being very inappropriate with his twitter. I don't think that the President should be able to tweet out these things about people, they are just going to get him in trouble. No, it is not very professional to tweet like this because it might result in something a lot bigger than twitter.

  • 1. No, it's not appropriate, he's the president, he's supposed to set an example, not behave like a 12-year-old boy who has had a tantrum.

    2. Of course not, it is not justified. I am sure that if someone reads this tweet without knowing who wroted, the person would not say "he is the president of the United States".

  • I do not think that he is being appropriate or professional for that matter. He had no right to say that. I do not think it was professional. It was very rude and disrespectful.

  • Trump should be allowed to use social media the way he wants to because we have the freedom of speech. However, I do think that it's unprofessional for the president to tweet his political opinions regardless of what those opinions are.
