Subway is being sued by former pitchman's Jared Fogle's ex-wife. Katie McLaughlin is suing the for compensation for "intentional infliction of emotional distress" and stating that Subway knew Jared was a pedophile years before she married him in 2010 and kept it hidden. She says that in 2008 the CEO of Subway was notified that Jared had admitted having sex with minors and he did nothing about it because of company profits, market share and growth. Subway CEO also knew that Jared had met Katie and planned on marrying her, so he assumed Jared's pedophilia behavior would stop. He did not seek guidance from experts concerning Jared's behavior and he had a responsibility to follow up on these allegations.
Jared Fogle plead guilty to federal charges of child pornography and having sex with minors. He is serving more than 15 years in federal prison and has agreed to pay 14 of his victims $100,000 each. Katie has apologized to his victims stating she did not know about his behavior. She said she wants answers from Subway and they have a responsibility and her, her children and Jared's victims.
Subway said it would not comment on pending litigation.

I agree i would have fired him to keep the subway image good. Subway will win in my opinion because of their money.
Yes, it may be discriminatory, but I would not want my company being affiliated with a pedophile. I believe that subway will win the lawsuit, this is a major corporation versus a small creep with issues.

Yes, that is a terrible thing and he knows better so I think he should have been fired right away. I'm not sure, i'm guessing they will lose but them again I'm not sure if they have to release that information to the public but if they were suppose to I think they will definitely lose.
I agree, I would have fired him right away I don't think that it was good that he did this and it would have just ruined the subway image like it just did.
