Smuggling 15 Tons of Weed

Last week a semi truck labeled "cushions and mattresses" was actually hiding 15 tons of marijuana which was intended to make it across the US/Mexico border. The smugglers were attempting to haul 31,598 pounds of pot into southern California from Mexico. Border Patrol x-rayed the cargo bay of the semi truck they were driving, and it didn't look like cushions and mattresses, so they decided to have a look. When they opened the cargo bay they were surprised with plastic wrapped packages of weed from wall to wall, there were 1,296 packages in all. This is the second biggest pot bust in american border patrol history, worth an estimated $18.96 million. The biggest was also into California from Mexico and totaled 17.6 tons of weed.

I would definitely have a good laugh, and maybe give the men some credit for being that stupid! All in all, I'd do my job, and put the scumbags away.

I wouldn't be surprised. I've heard of this happening before. It seems quite common, but it is usually in much smaller amounts. It's comical how dumb people can be. How could they possibly think that they could get away with that? Especially considering how big the load was.

I'd find it kind of funny if I were the cop. It's not like they could have possibly gotten that across border patrol anyway by the time they made it there.

I would be so surprised to find it. I don't understand how people think they can get away with that kind of stuff! I would be too scared to do anything like that.

I would be shocked that someone would even try this. I think it's ridiculous that people actually think they can get away with it.

I would be astonished that someone would try to smuggle that much marijuana into the US and I'd probably be kind of scared because you don't know if the driver is in on it or not.

I would probably be a little scared and surprised to find that much marijuana all at once. That's really crazy, I mean who takes that risk and think that its going to work.

I would be surprised and probably scared because you don't know what the driver is going to do. I don't know if I'd report it because what if the cartel come after you and your family.
