In July 31, 2021, 42.4 percent of the population of childern 5-18 years old has received a dose of a covid vaccine. Almost half of the population of childern under 18 has had at least one dose of the coivd vaccine. Some people say that the vaccine should be mandated so people can't get sick that are at higher risk. Other people beleive that people shouldn't get the vaccine because people won't even know if there are side effects or not from the vaccine.
People that beleive that you should have to get the vaccine say it can decrease your risk of getting covid and it also can stop the spreading of the virus. The vaccine can also help with serious illness and death. Scientist have made sure that vaccines are safe for 5 and older. If you get the vaccine you can be more free like not having to wear mask in public spaces.
Individuals also trust that you should not have to get vaccine because people don't know if there are side effects that will be harmful in the next 10 to 20 years and ruin there future. People have also said that the vaccine is not well supported by science. The vaccines don't even cure covid it just makes it so its a downgrade for the infection.
I think that people should have the choice to get it or not. I do beleive in people should not get the vaccine because they don't even know what will happen to them in the next year or 10 years. You don't know if you are putting in something that will help you or something that will ruin your life. Also if a child takes a dose and then in the next 20 years they can't have childern of there own because of the vaccine or the get a serious illness and they are fighting for their lifes just to stop them from getting a cold.

No kid under any circumstances should have to get the vaccine if they don't want it. Nobody really knows what is in the vaccine it is all just politcal bull crap. Most children should be able to make there own choice to get the vaccine unless they cant.
I don't think that children should be forced to get the vaccine they should have the choice if they decide to get it. Also we don't know if there is long term effect to the vaccine that cause major health problems. I feel like parents should definitely have a say in if they get it also.
I do not think that children should be forced to get the vaccine, and I think that they deserve the choice on if they want it, or not. The only acception against this is if they have some sort of severe health problem.
I think that the child should have the option to have the vaccination if they want to. But I also think that if the child is under the age of 18 the parent should have the final say. Whether that they should get the vaccine or whether they should not get the vaccine.
I think you should choose if you want to get the vaccine or not but if you have severe health problems you should get it.
I wouldn't think that it would be right for the parents to make a choice for the child that's 14-17 years old. That's due to the fact that they are old enough to decide what they want the shot or not. If the child is not able to make a choice of its own, then the parent should make the decision.
The funny thing is that I am between the age of 5 and eighteen and I got the vaccine because I wanted to protect the world. I do not think that they have to get the vaccine. I think that children have a right to choice of what they want to do. I think that it is a smart idea if children the the choice of getting the vaccine or not.
No one should be forced to have anything. If you choose to get the vaccine, good for you: if you don't choose to get the vaccine, good for you. The vaccine in and of itself is here to help us and protect us against a deadly virus. Do you get vaccinated for the flu every year? It's virtually doing the same thing. The virus has become so politicized that people are creating unnecessary drama around the situation.
I don't think that children should be required to get the vaccine. We don't know too much about it but is should also be their choice and sometimes the parents won't want there child to get the vaccine. I do think at a certain age they are able to choose if they want it or not but at a young age it should be the parents decision for their saftey.
