Shark Attack

October 17, 2014 a 13 year old girl was surfing in Australia. She happened to be surfing around 6 am when the shark attacked. Within hours she was in the hospital reliving the attack. She thought a friend was just pulling on her leg until she felt a bite and saw a shark thrashing in the water. The beach was closed until they found the shark. They said they have noticed a big population of sharks in this beach in Australia.

I think sharks are very freaky. As long as you don't do anything to fear them, you shouldn't have a problem. But I would be so scared if I came across one.

What would you feel if you came across a shark? What is your intake on sharks?

  • Good job!!

  • I do not like sharks at all. They scare me all the time especially when I go to the ocean! I'm scared that people are not watching and you never know when they could come into the shore by anyone.

  • I would be scared because sharks are very deadly and can easily kill you. I personally love sharks, they are fascinating but they are very misunderstood. The girl was probably mistook for a seal or another animal so it was more than likely an exploratory bite.

    • That's how I am!

  • I would feel fear and panic. Sharks freak me out because they come out of nowhere.

    • Yes, and you have no idea what they could do it.

  • I would be scared and scream, even though it may attract the shark. I am not a fan of sharks in the ocean, but i do not mind them in zoos.

    • They are cool to look at but that's it!

  • I don't like sharks. They are cool to look at but I would be scared if one was in the same water as I was.

    • Im the same way too.
