Police are now investigating what was reported abuse at a center in Burbach, Germany, which is near the town of Hagen. Apparently security guards mentally and physically abused refugees. The police questioned the security guards and the refugees. A local journalist even had a DVD showing the security guards hurting the refugees. The police even found a picture on a security guards phone of one of them pushing their foot on a handcuffed refugee's neck. Many other refugees have come forward and reported abuse. All of the security guards involved in the abuse were withdrawled from the center and can no longer work there.
I think it was a good idea for the refugees to come forward and say something. I also hope that no one hires those security guards who hurt the refugees.

If I were a refugee, I would get a group of people that were also getting abused and report it so I would have more people on my side. If I were security guard I would report the other guards how were abusing the refugees.
I agree that the refugees came forward because you cant abuse people so why would the police be able to abuse someone. I would have came forward if i was a refugee because just because your a cop doesn't mean you can do what you want.
Even though it may put you in a bad spot, I would report the abuse because in the end it is helping someone.

It would defiantly be scary to report abuse, because then, you're putting your name out there, and others affiliated with the security guards could come after you. I would hope adults would rise above peer pressure.
It would be scary because it's kind of like stabbing your friends in the back, and you don't want them to turn on you.
I would definitely come forth and say that i was abused, no matter where. and If i were a security i would stop the situation depending on what the tourists do to deserve.
