Officer Claims to Catch a Ghost on Camera

On September 25, an officer from Espanola, NM, says he captured a ghost on camera while on duty. It was a typical night when the officer saw something move across the surveillance camera. At first he thought it was a moth just moving across the screen but then he saw the legs and assumed it was a ghost. There is no way in our out of the secured area without an open gate and alarm sounding where the camera was. Detectives say there was no logical explanation to this and there was no problem with the lighting or a technical glitch. There turns out to be a lot of supernatural activity around this area. I think it was just a bug or they were faking it to just get attention.

Do you think that this was a ghost or the officer just trying to get some attention?

  • I see you did most all of your replies yesterday. That is not how you want to do it. Good job overall though.

  • I think its casper, because he seems friendly. :)

  • I think that it could go either way, but I would say it is probably more for attention.

  • I think it's for attention but that video was pretty interesting. I don't think ghosts are real.

  • I think it was just for some attention

  • I would think that it was fake but it kind of depends on what you believe in. I think that it was fake or doing it for attention

  • I don't know it could be both but I think it's fake. I mean maybe it just depends on if you believe in ghosts or not.

    • Ya for sure someone who believes in ghost would probably look at the vid and think it's real but everybody else would think other things
  • I think he was just faking it for attention.

  • Well im going to assume he was faking it for attention or he was really drunk or tired, or dazed in some form.
