O.J. Simpson free again

The former football star has been released early from his probation for good behavior. He was originally sentenced in 2008 to up to 33 years in prison for armed robbery and assault.

He had been allowed to leave prison early in October 2017, and since then he has lived under surveillance by authorities in Las Vegas.

Simpson had to serve the prison sentence for robbing two collectors of fan merchandise at a Las Vegas hotel in 2007 with two accomplices. Later in the trial, he claimed that the victims had stolen from him beforehand.

The detention, meanwhile, had nothing to do with the spectacular 1995 trial. At that time, O.J.'s ex-wife Nicole Brown Simspon and her new boyfriend had been found murdered. The ex-football star was a prime suspect but was acquitted in the end for lack of evidence.

I think that he shouldn't be free before his originally sentece of 33 years, this person is crazy. He maybe killed two persons and did a gun robbery.

Do you think he should be free?

  • This isn't a current event as it happened four years ago. You can do this topic but then it should be a brouder discussion on OJ Simpson. Be sure to comment more frequently and on three different days. -20 two days late

  • I don't think he should serve his time in prison until it's a for sure known thing that he did it. I believed he learned his lesson and he really did change for the better. I also believe he should have to serve the time out because he needs to face the consequences of what he did.

  • OJ Simpson shouldn't be in prision until it is a definitive answer of yes, he did do it. With such lack of evidence being present having a concrete case of whether he did it or not way extremely difficult, prompting the jury to procceed with the nonguility verdict for the crime he may or may not have committed.

  • I think they should let him be free because his behavior is good and he has improved a lot.  I think he learned his lesson in prison and wont do it again. I also think he should just be left because he is human just like everyone of us.

  • I think O.J should be released. He is not the only person to be released early for acting well, and he won't be the last. I think that he has learned his lesson, and I don't think that he will be trying anything after what he dealt with in prison. I think that he is okay to be let free, and he should be left alone.

  • Yes because like you said he was having good behavior and also if they were to find just one little thing on him on the murder cases they will probably just bring him back into prison untill he is found guilty or not guilty.

  • I think that he should stay free and people should just leave the guy alone. This guy was a maniac on the football field in his rookie year in 1973 with more than 2,000 rushing yards when he was playing with the Bills. I think this guy has done his time.

  • I think that it's okay that he is free, he wasn't found guilty so I believe that is okay. although he was said that he did those things he was not found guilty for any but that was in the past. He might have changed because he got let out for good behavior. I think that it is okay but if something were to happen again then probably he would go back.

  • I mean say what you will about it I think he should be free because he was not sentenced to life by the court but if you do or you do not you cannot chage the past which can suck but the world goes on and watch the thirty mile per hour police chase it is amazing

  • I don't think O.J. should be free. Yes, maybe he did change, but maybe it was just for him to get out on good behavior, so I still think he should have to serve the 33 years he was supposed to be in there for. He should have to suffer the consequences, but then I also feel that he should be free because he did change.
