NBA Global?

Spurs point guard Tony Parker recently said that during his rookie seasons now long time teammate Tim Duncan didn't talk to him. Tony Parker came over from France to play in the NBA so his English wasn't the best. Whatever the reasons are for Duncan not talking to him I still think its a neat story considering the career they've had together and the friendship they now have. As more players from other countries start coming to the NBA do you think the NBA will go global? Would you like a global NBA?

  • Well done!

  • I'm not really into basketball but I definitely think that if more players from other countries come over it will open new doors for the NBA. I think something like this would eventually end up being very popular.

    • I think so too since basketball is already pretty popular world wide a global NBA would really boost it.

  • I could definetly see a team in mexico city, as Canada has a team in the Raptors

    • Not trying to sound racist I don't think Mexico would provide many athletes to the NBA.

  • I think it would be cool to have teams in the NBA overseas.  It would add more revenue and fans.  A bad part of this would be the longer travel times for the teams.  They wouldn't be able to have that many games during the week they are traveling to and back from overseas.  I think the NBA will go global one day.

    • It would really bring in so much more money and fans over the world. Maybe they would have regions so teams wouldn't have to travel overseas as much. Then at the end they take the best teams from each region.

  • i think that is good because hes cool

  • I think it could go global but I think it will be a while before that happens.

    • Im with you. I think it wouldn't happen for a long time.
