Michelle Obama has been trying to get rid of childhood obesity. She's been doing this with Lets Move! this is an imitative to get kids outside and playing. She has replaced cookies with fruit. They have also cut down the amount of food kids get in school.
Why do you think she cares so much about obese children?

I don't think she is. She has probably been wanting to do this for awhile and finally saw an opportunity and took it when her husband became president.
I think that her intentions are good. I think that she wants the best for all kids. But, yes. I do think that she might be abusing her power a little. She needs to leave some choice up to the kids. It is their life. And no kid likes horrible school food anyway.

I don't think she is talking advantage of her position because she has to do something and this is a great thing she is doing. I don't why she cares if it is just to make a good impression on people or if she is a good person doing a good thing.
No she's no taking advantage of her position, she is addressing a real problem, fat kids. She cares about kids because she has some, and she is First Lady, so she needs something to do with her time.
