On Saturday afternoon the Playoffs began with first game which feature, the Golden State Warriors beat the San Antonio Spurs 113-92 without trailing once in the whole game. Klay Thompson led the Warriors in scoring with 27 points and shoot 11-13 FG. While on  the Spurs, the top scorer was Rudy Gay with 15 points. The Warriors lost 4 of their five final games of the regular season because their starting PG Stephen Curry was out with a Grade 2 MCL sprain. Stephen Curry said it is likely he will be back for Round 2 of the playoffs but he is hoping to be back by the end of Round 1. Everyone thought that this is how the playoffs would go for the Warriors without him(low scoring and losing), but they seemed to prove the people wrong today. Hopes started looking high today after the Warriors beat the Spurs. People are just praying that this keeps up.

Questions

1. Do you think Stephen Curry will return in the first round?

There has been progress videos on Stephen Curry and I think he will be back in maybe game 4.

2. Do you think the Warriors will be as donominat as last year with all the trades and injuries that has happened this season.

I honestly think that Warriors will make it to the Final round of the Western PLayoffs then might have a little trouble on getting past there, it is very hard to say.

  • Good job overall but I do think your story isn't overly great and your questions are yes/no.

  • I think he will be back in the second round or third because knee injuries are hard to come back fully healed from. I think if no more serious injuries occur then they will have a very good chance of winning.

    • I agree because it takes time to come back from an MCL sprain. I wouldnt be surpised if the Warriors are going to come back and be as good as they where last in the playoffs.

  • Yes i think steph is determined to get back out there and do what he loves with his team. I think that the warriors will have to try alot harder and get better but i think they are gonna do good either way because they are a great team.

    • I agree 100% Curry is doing a lot of rehabbing and trying to get back to 100%. Curry does love this team he got drafted by them and now has a 5 year contract that is worth 201 million dollars.

  • There should be a very good chance that he should be able to make a return, but I would not try to rush anything because his last return was a one and done. I think they are still very dominant. The biggest threat to them would be the Rockets.

    • Yes that is true it best to not rush Curry because maybe he will get re injuryed if he comes back quickly. Then if Curry come back stronger then they have a chance to make to Finals again for the 4th straight year.

  • I think that Curry will probably be available in the first round, but I doubt that they will use him unless they need too. The Spurs aren't what they used to be and they don't really have the most versatile offense or a second scoring option besides LaMarcus Aldridge since Kawhi is out. I honestly don't think that the Warriors will make it past the Conference Finals as the Rockets are playing the best they have in a while and James Harden is as hot as he has ever been.

    • Yes maybe he will be able to return but its best on not him playing because you might thing everything is ok but then something happens. I agree that the Spurs are not what they use to be since Kawhi is not talking to the Spurs team.

  • 1) Well, if the Warriors keep winning without him, I believe he will sit out until they really need him. Because why would he go back when they are doing fine without him. He could possibly get hurt again.

    2) No I don't think they will and I don't think they will make it to the Finals. That is just me though,
