im 1981 issei killed dismembered and eat Renee hartevelt. this man has been planing on doing this to someone for 32 years. He explained after words that it was a dream of his. His whole life hes had canibale thoughts, hed look at his class mates and say "mm, that looks dilicous". he later explained that he wanted to eat them as well.but after 32 years of pooting it off he couldnt hold back anymore so he moved to paris to study. He eventually found the perfect victuim, Renee. He attemted once but his gun jammed. so he put his gun away and cariied on. on his second attempt he actually killed her. after he killed her he eat her. 2 days later he put her in a suitcase and disposed of Renee in a lake unnoticed.he kept what he cut off of her in his freezer for later. police were notified when people saw the suitcase and that it was drippin blood. later the police found Issei and questioned him. he confessed to the murder. he waited 2 years for a trial. they dropped the charges, ported him back to japan to put him in a mental institution. but he didnt go. when the french dropped the charges they sealed the case so no one could get into it. since the japaness had no court documants against him they had no choice but to let him walk free. he checked himself out in 1986. Hes been free ever since.

THis is a very interesting story and thing that happend to this person and also very scary because he is just walking around and could potentionally do that to other people. I dont think they should have really let him go, or at least they could have kept him in the mental institution a little bit longger.
This story is interesting and scary at the same time. It's crazy to me that people can think of killing and eating another human being. This man was very determined and the fact that he didn't see an issue with killing and eating another person is just unimaginable. He definitely should not be out of the mental institution he was in, and certainly should be in jail.
That is crazy. That is probably one of the most scariest stores I have ever heard of. I think that he should have been kept in the U.S. and been punished. I think people like him are why our world is crazy. I think that he should have been punished worse than letting him go back to his country.
Wow, this story was very interesting and I have never heard of it before. This story is crazy to believe and I think he should be in jail so this doesn't happen again. I believe this person deserves life in prison or execution for being a sick person. If I had worked for the Japanese government I wouldn't have let him roam free but keep him locked up in a cell.
This story is a bit hard for me to get through my head. He was very determined, clearly, and I think that the fact that he didn't see the issue and seek help, but no one else saw his behavior as even a little bit odd. Then he went through with it and was released back into society after waiting two years for a trial alone. I think this is just not right. In any way. This man needs psycological help.
I agree, I think that the crime should say it all that he needs psycological help and should be put into some type of therapy for what he did. Its clearly not something a normal person would do and is something too serious to just pardon.
This story definitly is crazy and disturbing knowing this guy is free and still most likely doing this. If this guy is out and about then they should most definetly keep close to him and make sure no one else dies. If I knew he was loose around me I would be a gonner.
the story sounds kinda weird and crazy almost unbelievable. I think he should be put in jail because he deserves so. I mean he ate a person it's taboo to even think about it. I feel like he suffered from a mental illness and this is what led him to do something like this.
I agree with you because of how crazy the story is. I also think he should be put in jail since what he did was so bad. Eating a person is very weird and disturbing. I also kinda think he had a mental illness which made him do this.
I think that is insane and that he should be put in jail so then it don't happen again I think that this is a crazy thing that shouldn't of ever happened or it should never be able to happen again it is disgusting to think about what happened.
