  • Your summary is quite brief and you didn't comment to any students which is worth 20 points.

  • I think they did the correct steps because the immigrants need to know the law if they want to be here and stay here. I think the son is going to have  a long life if his father doesn't help him to go on the right path.

  • Yes, I think that those people should have been put in jail, which they were. I think those men need to be punished for what they did and spend some time in jail. I think that the son followed in his fathers footsteps. I think that the child was used to his father and thought his father was doing right, so he followed in his footsteps.

  • Yes, if he is undocumented and accused of a serious crime like that he should be put through trial. I don't really know why he would encourage his son, maybe its because he doesn't care about what happens to him.

  • I think that they should have dealt with the rape before worrying about him being an immigrant. I really don't know why the father would encourage his son to do this because that's not a good thing and parents shouldn't be encouraging their kids to do things like this.

  • The father was setting a horrible example for his kid, especially by jumping the boarder and raping a 14 year old girl! Imagine how that girl feels, she is most likely traumatized, and scared, because she probably doesn't know how to cope with such an act. The father wasn't the least bit concerned for his son, the biggest mistake the son made was following in his father's footsteps by jumping the boarder.

  • Yes i do i think that sense the dad was a immigrant and he was making a terrible example for his kids and they would end up just like him! I don't understand why the father would do something like that! I think that if no one would have done anything then they would be done and their future would be toast!

  • I think that they were doing the right thing, and that they should have them taken in. I think that he set s bad example for his son, and that it was okay to do what they did.

  • I think they should address the issue of rap before dealing with him being undocumented. I don't have any idea why a father would encourage his son to be a rapist, it's unfathomable.
