On Sep 11, 2022 The Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback, Dak Prescott, was injured against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Cowboys ended up losing that game 19-3. He is expected to have surgery on his right thumb and miss 6-8 weeks. Dak Prescott has been with the Cowboys organization since 2016. He attended Mississippi State University. Dak was an eight round pick in the 2016 draft. His first regular season start was with the Cowboys on September 11, 2016. He has been the starting quarterback ever since.
Dak Prescott needs surgery and will be out for 6-8 weeks so the next quarterback in Dallas’s quarterback room is Cooper Rush. Cooper grew up in Michigan. He attended Lansing Catholic High School. In highschool, Cooper was a dual threat Quarterback as he finished his highschool career with 80 passing touchdowns and 27 rushing touchdowns. After Highschool Cooper Rush committed to the University of Central Michigan. In College Cooper had 90 touchdowns and 55 interceptions. Cooper was not drafted but was signed by the cowboys in 2017. On Sunday Oct 2, 2022 Cooper rush led the Cowboys to a victory over the Washington Commanders.
Personally I am not usually a Cowboys fan and I tend to cheer for the opposing team. However, I am very happy for Cooper Rush. It is not easy to do what he has done. He has sat behind a middle to high class NFL quarterback for 5 years of his career. For him to perform like he has after his name was called is outstanding. I will be following his journey in the NFL. Cooper has done an amazing job leading this team but I think once Dak gets healthy, Cooper will be back to riding the pine.

When you mentioned this topic, I was a little concerned. I eventually decided to let you do it to see where you took it. I was hoping you would take it in a differernt direction like how sometimes injuries to some are what opens doors for other people to shine and prove that they belone and can potentially be stars. But you didn't. It's mostly a summary of whats going on which is not what I'm looking for.
Cooper Rush is improving his skills every day. He keeps proving himslef and stepping up when the game is on the line and playing to the best of his abbilites. I think Cooper Rush and Dak should have a quarterback competition when Dak is fit to play.
I've been very impressed with how Cooper Rush has been performing for the Cowboys. Even though they are winning games with him, I highly expect the Cowboys to start Dak as soon as he can play. After Dak regains his spot, I am not sure what is next for Cooper Rush. I think he should sign with a new team because there is an opportunity for money, but he might want to stay on the same team with the same offense again. I would like to see him play for the Colts next season because they have a lot of talent, but Matt Ryan isn't getting it done.
I agree that he should sign with another team but I don't think that he should sign with the colts. I don't think that Matt Ryan is the problem. The colts don't have a very good wide reciever core. I think he should sign with the commanders.
I think that cooper rush is doing a great job forthe cowboys. I think that since Dak is a better quarterback he will start over cooper. Cooper should sign a new contract with a new team so he can use his talent and abilties and start on another team.

I disagree with you. I believe that Cooper is a good quaterback but he is not a franchise quarterback. I also think that Dak is more athletic and has more arm talent.

I agree with you. I think that Dak will get his starting spot back. Dak is a better quaterback. I'd like to see him go to Washington because I don't think that it is Matt Ryan's fault that they aren't winning games. He doesn't have any weapons to throw the ball to.
