Google has made a new team to try to get rid of computer bugs that hackers and government spies use to exploit your computer. The team is called Google Project Zero and the team's job is to go on all sorts of software and try to find holes in the program that the hackers use to enter your computer. If they find a hole they alert the company and tell them to patch the hole. If it is a major problem they put extra pressure and see if they can repair the problem. Some problems they have found is in Apple's IOS device software and in Microsoft's malware protection program. These type of people are in big need because of the recent heart bleed bug which leaked out tons of personal information from people everywhere. I feel like these type of people are really important because all of the computers, laptops, IPhones can easily be hacked but people like these help so your hackers have a harder time.
Do you think that companies like Apple, Windows, and Microsoft should have their own teams like these to find problems in their software. If so, why?

Ya, it's a great idea. You get to hire people to try to hack into their own company to find the holes they need to cover up. Your basically creating your own problems, so you can solve them.

Yes, because it helps protect everyone information. And it improves our chances of not getting hacked. Google has the money to do it and it would be smart if they used their money to help better the safety of software.
I think it is a great idea. Every company should hire white hat hackers, and use them against themselves and each other, like if a Microsoft white hat hacks into Apple OS, the Microsoft execs can call up Apple and let them know about it.

I think that they should have there own teams like this. I think this because if Apple has a problem with a laptop they would be the best ones to fix it not someone that works at Microsoft.
Yes, they should have there own people work on there own products. By them doing it the people would now where and what every thing is. So then in the long run there would be a less of a chance for something to happen to there programs.
