Family of 5 found dead in home

A family of 5 people, 3 of them being children were found dead in there Utah home Early Saturday night. A worried family member called the police who went to the home and discovered the bodies. So far the medical examiners have not found any sort of foul play involved in the death of this family, and they are still confused as to the cause of death of this family. No names have been released yet. The parents are in there late 30's and the children are ages 11, 14, and 12. at first they thought it might have been caused due to high carbon monoxide levels in the house, but after checking they found the house contained low levels of carbon monoxide. My questions to you are, How do you think the family died, and do you think there was foul play involved. Foul play meaning murder.

  • Excellent job replying!

  • I have no idea, this is so strange. Maybe someone else came in and killed them.

  • They could of got a disease or got poisoned.

  • Since there is no real evidence proving murder, suicide, or by accident, it's kind of tough to determine what happened. If I were the police, I would look into their history and go back to the call that the family member put in, to see if it shows any evidence weather it might be the tone of their voice or something they said.

  • I think this situation is a hard one to say an official thought on what could have happened, I think that before revealing the story they should have or should do autopsy on all the members and see if they all ate, drank, or breathed in something that could have done it. I still think that foul play could have been involved, but not in a violent way, meaning physically hurting the people on the outside, since they didn't find any marks.

  • They could have died from anything basically. It is to hard to figure out what happened until we get the results from the autopsy. No I do not think there was foul play involved because their was no marks on their bodies.

    • It does not look like foul play, but it is still a possibility.

  • We will not know how they died until the medical examiners have finished examining their bodies.  If they found low levels of carbon monoxide, then I would assume that there was foul play involved in their death.

    • agreed, since it is not obvious of how they died, it will take many weeks to solve this puzzle.

  • Someone could have poisoned them or there could have been some disease. You won't really know for sure unhtil the medical examiners are done examining
