Teresa Romero Ramos is a Nurse aid in Spain who contracted Ebola after helping a patient with the disease. Teresa had been tested twice before, and it had been confirmed that she had Ebola. Then after the third, the virus had decreased, and then vanished from her body completely. The Doctors don't know exactly how this happened but have been doing tests about 4 to 5 times daily. One of the doctors said that, "Romero has recovered enough to produce antibodies." An antibody provides protection to your body, and helps kill the virus on it's own. Romero is expected to be fine, but they will keep her at the hospital for a few more weeks to run more tests.

With development of antibodies, her blood could be used to make a vaccine. I think the vaccine will help give time to researchers to find a cure. I would want to help others knowing I survived.
And maybe that would be all it takes. A strong immune system can fight off a lot of sicknesses, but I'm not sure if it can stop a disease that has killed thousands of people.

Possibly, since her body was able to cure itself of Ebola. Because that is how the CDC produces vaccines.
I think this is great news and it will give a lot of people hope that a possible cure has been found! I'm really happy for the lady and I'm sure she feels very lucky that she has survived having Ebola. Hopefully with more testing and research doctors will have a for sure cure for Ebola.
Yes ! the doctors have to figure how her body fought Ebola and then try to find a way to make it happen to the others patients. And I would feel really lucky and happy because so many people died because of this virus.

I don't know if it could really lead to a cure for Ebola, because not everybody's going to react to it the same was that she did. And I would feel really glad and happy about it! I would be a little bit worried thought about it possibly coming back and not being gone for good.
