On Thursday morning in Australia, a lifeguard had been alerted that two men had been caught in a "turbulent surf". As soon as the lifeguard noticed what was going on he started up the drone and headed that way. Within 70 seconds of the drone being in the air it was able to drop a "rescue pod". For most lifeguards, it would have taken them a couple of minutes to figure the drone out; however, the lifeguard on duty was training for type of situations like these. Luckily in the month of December Australia’s government decided to invest over $300,000 into drones. The drone that was used is known as the "Little Ripper" it can be used for saving life’s and for shark spotting.

1.) I think that drones are a good thing to keep around as long as they dont get into the wrong hands like a child because sometimes they go into planes or do something that they dont really know is illegal.
2.) I think it would be cool to great some type of drone that helps like go up way into the universe so we could see it in something differet. Or if we cold build drones that would help restraunts with delievery. Really anything would be cool as long as they help people get around and do things safetly.

I think drones would come in handy very often, epsecially in situations like these. However, it would be important to make sure everyone who is controling the drone knows how to properly use in. I think that drones should have special features for what they are being used for.
I think drones are a huge help to saving lives and finding people. Using drones reduces the risk of human endangerment in saving others. Drones should be able to have specialized features to what they are being used for.
Yes, because it's a faster way of knowing if someone is in danger and it will make it easier to get items to those in need. I think we should build drones that can do more things, like help with scientific research, or everyday things that some families or people don't have a lot of time to do if they live a busy lifestyle.
The situation with drones is that it depends on who's controlling it that really shifts the situation because yeah anyone can read a manual for 10 minutes and say: " this looks easy " but with actually controlling a drone in a windy area it can proove to be very difficult and sometimes result in the possible destruction of the drone.
Yes, I think that drones could be a good thing to keep around if they can be used for saftey reasons like this. I think that maybe the more heavy-duty drones should be more restricted for who they give them too, but this is a good use for a drone. I think that they could add some night vision lenses, or maybe heat sensors to help poplice officers on duty.
Drones are a good example of how the world is advancing. But how long will it be until the life gaurd has to stop running it because it can run itself? You don't have to pay a drone either. So cool idea but I see potential problems in the future.
I definitely think drones are a good thing to keep around considering they're saving lives. Who wouldn't want to live if they were drowning? I know I wouldn't wanna die. There aren't really a whole lot of other features to add to drones since they've come up with practically everything already.
I think that drones could in a way be like a fire arm when used the the right pearson to do the right thing it can be a good thing to have, but if used by the wrong pearson for the wrong reasons it could be a seurious problem. I think that if they could add speaakers to drones that would be very cool or like bag to transport things to people would also be very cool.
