The youngest victim of the boston marathons bombings parents have come forward to make a plea to take the death penalty off the table for Tsarnaev the man convicted for committing the bombings. Last week Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was found guilty of al 30 charges pressed on him related to the 2013 boston marathon. Bill and Denise Richard wrote about the struggles their family fasted after Martin their 8 year old son was killed, and their daughter Jane severely injured. the speak of sitting in the court room and watching all the evidence pile up. including graphic videos and pictures. yet they encourage the department of justice to close the case and discourage the use of the death penalty. All the family wants know is for there two remaining children to grow up without the lingering pain and thoughts of what the defendant took from them.

Do you think Tsarnaev should face the death penalty and why do you feel this way?

Why do you think the parents don't want Tsarnaev to face the death penalty?

  • Well done!

  • I don't think anyone deserve to die no matter how bad but he has to be in prison for the rest of his life. If it is the families request that he doesn't receive the death penalty then he can't. If they don't listen then it will be another big thing they lost. If I had lost my child I would do everything in my power to make sure the court agrees with me. I think they don't want Tsarnaev to die because they don't want any more death.

  • I do not think that he should receive the death penalty. They don't want him to get the death penalty because then he would just consider himself a martyr for the cause he did the bombing for.

  • The death penalty would be the easy way out for him. Make him suffer in jail and rot until he wishes he was dead.

    • do you he is think the same way that he would rather have the death penalty

  • I think that the reason why the parents do not want the death penalty for this man is because they have forgiveness. I know that if I was the parent of a child who was killed in a bombing like this, I would want the person in charge of the crime to have the death penalty because I don't want them to hurt anyone else. I think that terrorists who want to go out and kill innocent people like this need to pay the consequences.

    • some would consider the death penalty the easy way out do you agree with this

  • I think he shouldn't face death penalty... He should go to jail for the rest of his life. Some people say he deserves it but I don't think we should kill people.

    • do you consider a life in jail a worse punishment than the death penalty

  • I don't think that he should to face the death penalty. I think that he should have a second chance. I don't really believe in the death penalty.
