This weekend, a woman in Florida entered her garage only to find a black bear rummaging through her garbage can trying to find food. The woman claims that there was up to five bears all of different sizes in her garage, even though authorities can only confirm one black bear being present. After seeing the woman, the bears dragged her out of her garage and onto the driveway before leaving completely. The woman only suffered from scrapes and cuts to her body especially on her face and legs. The same night, Florida wildlife officials warned that black bears were going be moving around and looking for food, especially in neighborhood trash cans. Florida residents, including the woman, are encouraged to get bear proof trash cans.
I find this kind of scary. I have no idea how I would react if I walked into my garage and found bears eating out of a trash can. What is your opinion about the authorities only confirming one bear was present when the lady said there were five bears? What would be your reaction if you stumbled upon a bear?

Well, I defenitly would want to leave the bear alone and not mess with it. And I'm sure she was just in shock and was afraid.
I am pretty sure she would not know how to react.
I feel like the women thought that she could get some money out of the wildlife officials to keep quiet about the incident by saying there were five bears. It's good that she wasn't severally hurt or killed though.
It would have been horrible is she would have been killed, and I am glad she only survived with a couple of injuries.
Yeah, you need to do something if you see a bear, and don't just stand there.
Maybe she was confused or terrified after being attacked by the bears. I wouldn't stay around to watch them eat out of the garbage, and then get attacked. I would run. like is she stupid or what
She probably didn't know what to do when she first saw the bear.
If i saw a bear in my garage i don't think i would be able to react! i would be just frozen standing there in amazement and fear. I think it's weird tho that the police only confirmed one bear when the lady said 5? But at least she wasn't seriously injured!
It must have been easy to mix up the details under such a scary experience.
